At the centre of the design sits a raised heart, surrounded by a radiating pattern of eight foliate sprigs alternating with eight pairs of scissors rendered in a stylised, folkloristic manner, all set against a finely crosshatched background field. The dates 1940 and 2020, flanking the upper portion of the central design, commemorate the queen's birth year and the 80th anniversary. The denomination 20 KRONER appears in raised lettering along the lower rim, completing the inscription. |
