正面描述 Olive-green letterpress Notgeld note with a central oval vignette of the Zelking parish church set against a mountainous landscape, enclosed within vertical line underprint panels. To the upper left, a wider landscape vignette extends to the note's edge, showing a hilltop castle and village amid wooded hills in fine etched linework. The right panel carries the issuing authority title in Gothic script, the denomination numerals '20' in large bold type with 'Zwanzig Heller' above and below, a validity box reading 'Gültig bis 31. Dezember 1920', and an anti-counterfeiting warning. The designer credit 'ENTWURF: RADIERER WALTER PRINZL, MELK.' is printed in small capitals at the lower left margin.

备注

Zelking is a small village in Lower Austria, and like hundreds of similarly sized communities it resorted to printing its own Notgeld during the postwar currency emergency — small-denomination emergency money intended to address the chronic shortage of coins that plagued Austria between 1919 and 1921. What distinguishes this particular issue is the involvement of Walter Prinzl of nearby Melk, credited both as designer and etcher, which is uncommon; most municipal Notgeld of this type was farmed out to commercial artists with no local connection.

Hermes Buch- und Kunstdruckerei, operating out of Vienna's 17th district, handled a significant volume of Lower Austrian municipal Notgeld during this period.
