| Obverse description | Printed in dark blue on pale green paper with a decorative border of interlocking geometric and foliate motifs framing the entire note. The heading reads 'Gutschein der Marktgemeinde Vitis' in Gothic script across the top, with the denomination '20' set within a central rectangular cartouche flanked by 'Heller' on either side. A light green floral guilloche underprint occupies the lower centre field, beneath which appears the validity clause, the expiry date 'Gültig bis 31. Dezember 1920', and a forgery warning, with the facsimile signatures of the Vizebürgermeister F. Pennerstorfer and Bürgermeister B. Muhr printed to the lower left and right respectively. |
