| 正面描述 | Printed in blue on cream paper, the obverse is dominated by the heraldic shield of Steyr bearing a rampant lion passant, centrally placed within a fine guilloche-patterned border. The denomination numerals '2' and '0' appear in ornate oval cartouches to the left and right respectively, each inscribed below with 'HELLER'. The issuer name 'STADT STEYR' is set in bold capital letters across the upper corners, with a fine dotted frame enclosing the entire design. |

| 备注 |
Steyr's 1920 Heller notgeld emerged from the acute small-change famine that paralyzed Austrian commerce in the years immediately following the collapse of the Habsburg monarchy. With the new Republic struggling to establish a functioning currency system and metal coinage virtually absent from daily transactions, hundreds of Austrian municipalities printed their own emergency pfennig-value scrip. Steyr, an industrial town with a long metalworking history, was among them.
The IIa designation within the Jaksc classification suggests a specific paper or printing variant within a broader local issue sequence — worth distinguishing from superficially identical pieces.
