| Obverse description | Printed in deep carmine-red on grey paper, the obverse is divided into two principal zones. The left half carries a detailed line-engraved vignette of Pöchlarn's medieval tower and church seen from the riverbank, signed 'SELIGER' at lower margin, with a large watermark-style '20' underprint at centre. The right half bears the large Gothic-script legend 'Gutschein der Stadtgemeinde Pöchlarn' with the validity notice 'Nur gültig bis 31. Dezember 1920' and two facsimile signatures below the titles 'Der Vizebürgermeister' and 'Der Bürgermeister'. Denomination numerals '20' appear in each corner within circular cartouches, with the value spelled out vertically in Gothic script along both lateral borders. |
