Below, the issuing authority inscription 'NOTGELD · DER GEMEINDE PICHL BEI WINDISCHGARSTEN' is printed in bold decorative lettering within an ornate bordered panel, with stylised foliate and scroll ornaments at the sides; the lower portion carries a woodcut vignette of iris flowers and ribbon motifs. The right half of the obverse presents a detailed woodcut landscape vignette of the village of Pichl, with a church steeple, alpine farmhouses, coniferous forest, and snow-capped mountain peaks rendered in fine black line engraving. |
