| Obverse description | Black letterpress on white paper in an Art Nouveau woodcut style. The denomination numeral '20' appears within a circular vignette at the upper centre, flanked by the legend 'HELLER' on both sides, set against a stippled dark background. Below, the issuing authority inscription 'NOTGELD · DER GEMEINDE PICHL BEI WINDISCHGARSTEN' is printed in bold decorative lettering within an ornate bordered panel, with stylised foliate and scroll ornaments at the sides; the lower portion carries a woodcut vignette of iris flowers and ribbon motifs.
