Beschrijving voorzijde Left panel contains a full-length vignette of a standing armoured knight (identified as Derfflinger by the cartouche below) set against a stylised architectural arch with geometric dot-and-stripe ornament; denomination "20 H" appears in the upper corners. The right panel is divided into two registers: the upper register bears two heraldic lions passant in silhouette flanking a Gothic letter "N" surmounted by a cross, printed on a vertically striped ground; the lower register carries the purpose inscription in bold block lettering arranged on a bold chevron underprint, with the designer's monogram "F.M." at lower right.

The right half carries the issuing text in bold sans-serif lettering stating the total voucher issuance of 24,000 Kronen, redemption deadline of 30 December 1920, and the anti-counterfeiting warning "NACHAHMUNG STRAFBAR!"; two manuscript signatures appear at the foot under the titles "SÄCKELWART:" and "OBMANN:".

Opmerkingen

A product of Austria's postwar Notgeld wave, this 20 Heller piece was issued by the local gymnastics association — the Turnverein — rather than a municipal authority or savings institution. That was not unusual in 1920; the chronic small-coin shortage following the collapse of the Habsburg economy pushed clubs, businesses, and cooperatives of all kinds into emergency currency issuance. The Turnverein's two signatories, Göllrach and Florian Mayr, presumably held officer positions in the club.

The designer credit "F.M." almost certainly points to Florian Mayr himself — a signer doubling as the note's artist, which was common in smaller Notgeld issues where professional designers were an unnecessary expense.
