| Descrizione del dritto | Printed in violet on cream paper, the obverse carries the issuer's name MISTELBACH in large bold lettering across the top, above the validity inscription GILTIG BIS 31. DEZEMBER 1920 repeated along the upper and lower margins. A central vignette presents a finely engraved landscape with a wayside shrine or chapel column amid trees and foliage. Denomination numerals '20' appear in framed cartouches at upper left and right, while vertical side panels carry the anti-counterfeiting warning text; lower left and right corners bear signature boxes for the Vize-Bürgermeister and Bürgermeister respectively. |

Below the central vignette the town's heraldic shield displays a mistletoe branch motif. Two historiated text panels in Gothic script at the lower left and right record key dates in the town's history: the founding of the St. Elisabeth church in 1016 and the elevation of Mistelbach to a city by Kaiser Franz Josef I in 1874. |
