| 备注 |
Lend is a small village in the Salzach valley, and like hundreds of Austrian municipalities after the First World War, it issued its own Notgeld when the central monetary system failed to supply enough small-denomination coins for everyday commerce. These emergency issues were a purely local fix — printed in tiny quantities, valid only within the issuing community, and theoretically redeemable once the crisis passed.
Three signatories authenticated this note by hand: the Bürgermeister and two members of the Gemeinderat. That personal accountability was the only guarantee backing it.
