Below the text appear the printed titles 'Der Bürgermeister', '2. Vizebürgermeister' and '1. Vizebürgermeister' accompanied by three manuscript signatures, with the printer's imprint 'Buchdruckerei Enns' in small type at the foot. |

Kronstorf is a small municipality in Upper Austria, and this 20 Heller note is one of the thousands of Austrian Notgeld pieces produced in the early 1920s when a severe coin shortage forced local authorities to issue their own small-denomination emergency currency. The printing was handled by Buchdruckerei Enns, a local press in the nearby town of Enns — one of the oldest continuously inhabited settlements in Austria, though the printer's antiquity has no bearing on the note itself.
The Jaksch/Pick reference JPR0486a confirms this as part of the catalogued Kronstorf municipal series. Whether multiple denominations were issued under the same authority is worth checking — the "a" suffix suggests at least one variant exists within the 20 Heller type.
