| Obverse description | Printed in olive-green on cream paper, the obverse carries ornate Gothic-script lettering at left reading the issuer name and denomination, alongside a rectangular aerial-view vignette of Kremsmünster Abbey and its surrounding townscape occupying the upper right. A heraldic shield cartouche dated 1600, bearing a fish and quill motif, is placed centrally below the vignette, flanked by the validity and guarantee text at lower right with a facsimile mayoral signature. An anti-counterfeiting notice runs along the bottom margin within a double-rule border. |
