A central block of Gothic blackletter text sets out the legal terms of the issue, stating that the municipality of Krems issued these Kassenscheine to a total value of 50,000 Kronen to alleviate the small-change shortage, redeemable between 16 and 31 October 1920, with a counterfeiting warning at the foot. |

Zur Linderung der Kleingeldnot gibt die Gemeinde Krems unverzinsliche Kassenscheine im Gesamtbetrage von 50.000.-- Kronen aus. Sie werden von der Gemeinde Krems bis 31. Oktober 1920 in Zahlung genommen und in der Zeit vom 16. bis 31. Oktober 1920 in gesetzlichem Bargelde eingelöst. Die Nachahmung wird gesetzlich bestraft. |
