At the top, a Gothic-script 'Gutschein' legend is flanked by floral vignettes, with the denomination '20 Heller' in a central oval. A bold text panel in German script states the redemption clause 'Dieser Gutschein wird von der Gemeinde Grossarl bis 31. December 1920 eingelöst.' followed by the designation 'Der Bürgermeister' and a manuscript signature. To the left stands a vignette of the Krieger-Denkmal (war memorial) and to the right a vignette of the Fürsterzbischof Dr. I.G. Rieder's Geburtshaus, with the engraver's imprint 'F.
