| Obverse description | Green and black bicolour Notgeld voucher with a decorative border of foliate and geometric motifs. The upper portion carries the Gothic-script legend 'Gutschein d. Gemeinde Grossarl' within a ruled title panel, below which a large landscape vignette in black presents a panoramic view of the Grossarl valley with a chamois in the foreground, conifers to the left, and the village with its church steeple visible in the mountain valley beyond. The denomination numeral '20' appears in a green-tinted rectangular cartouche at the lower centre, with the printer's imprint 'Druckerei Jos. Huttegger Salzburg' at the bottom margin. |

A bold text panel in German script states the redemption clause 'Dieser Gutschein wird von der Gemeinde Grossarl bis 31. December 1920 eingelöst.' followed by the designation 'Der Bürgermeister' and a manuscript signature.
