背面描述 Salmon-pink reverse with a dense hatched border running along all four edges, enclosing a text-only field on a lightly textured underprint. The text states the legal basis of issuance — a municipal council resolution of 16 April 1920 — and guarantees redemption in lawful currency between 1 and 31 May 1921, with a warning that counterfeiting is punishable by law. At the foot, the Vizebürgermeister (Jauk) and Bürgermeister (Andorfer) are identified by printed title and manuscript signature.

备注

Frankenmarkt is a small market town in Upper Austria, and like hundreds of Austrian municipalities during the post-WWI economic collapse, it issued its own emergency currency — Notgeld — to address the acute shortage of small change. The 1920 date places this squarely in the peak period of Austrian municipal Notgeld production, when hyperinflation and coin hoarding had effectively stripped low-denomination coinage from everyday commerce.

The print date of 30 April 1945 is worth pausing on. That is the day Hitler died in Berlin, and the final week of the Nazi regime in Austria. Why a 1920-dated Heller note was being printed on that specific date demands explanation that the catalog data alone cannot supply — whether these were reprints, backdated replacements, or a recording anomaly remains unclear. Treat that date with scrutiny.
