| 备注 |
Dorfgastein is a small village in the Salzburg region, and this 20 Heller note is a product of the Austrian Notgeld wave that swept through municipalities during and after World War One, when coin shortages made small-denomination paper a practical necessity. What makes this particular piece worth noting is the local print chain: designed by Fritz Dürnberger and produced by the Graphische Kunstanstalt F. Fuchs in nearby Hofgastein, the note never left the immediate valley in any meaningful sense — it was hyperlocal currency in the most literal way.
Fuchs printed for several Salzburg communities, giving the regional Notgeld issues a degree of visual consistency unusual among Austrian village emissions.
