正面描述 Violet notgeld printed on cream paper with an Art Nouveau-style border of interlocking beaded and foliate motifs. The denomination numeral '20' appears in boxed cartouches at upper left and right, flanking a central vignette of a figurative scene set behind an ornate wrought-iron grille with scrollwork. Narrow side panels carry small vignettes — agricultural tools to the left and a floral sheaf to the right — while the issuer inscription 'Gemeinde Brunnenthal.' is displayed in a ruled rectangular panel at the top.
正面铭文 Gemeinde Brunnenthal.

备注

Brunnenthal is a small municipality in Upper Austria, and this 20 Heller note is a product of the Notgeld wave that swept Austrian communes between 1919 and 1921 — a direct consequence of the coinage shortage that followed the collapse of the Habsburg monarchy and the economic disruption of postwar currency transition. Municipalities were legally permitted to issue their own emergency small-change notes, and hundreds did.

The two signatories, Johann Lorenz and Josef Salletmayer, were almost certainly local officials rather than banking figures. Jaksc catalogues this as JPR0111-10, placing it within a numbered series for Brunnenthal.
