Reverse description Central field features the denomination 20 FRANCS. inscribed in two lines within an open laurel and olive wreath, tied at the base with a ribbon bow. The circular legend EMPIRE FRANÇAIS. runs along the upper periphery inside the beaded rim. The date 1815 appears in the exergue below the wreath, accompanied by the mint mark to its right. The overall design is clean and symmetrical, characteristic of the refined neoclassical engraving of the First Empire period.
