| Obverse description | The central field depicts the national arms of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, featuring a facing leopard head above a crossed elephant tusk and spear, set upon a decorative base bearing the motto PAIX; the scrolls to the left and right carry the inscriptions JUSTICE and TRAVAIL respectively. The date 2019 is divided across the lower field, flanking the base of the arms. The legend REPUBLIQUE DEMOCRATIQUE DU CONGO arcs along the upper periphery within a beaded border, while the denomination 20 FRANCS appears in the lower exergue, with the fineness mark 1 oz Ag 999 inscribed immediately above it. |
