| 裏面の説明 | A rectangular bas-relief panel, rendered in the Byzantine artistic tradition, dominates the central field. The composition depicts a large chalice-like amphora from which symmetrical grapevines with foliage and fruit clusters spring outward, flanked by two stylised peacocks facing a central Chi-Rho cross — a motif characteristic of early Christian Ravennate decorative art. Above the panel, the mint mark R appears beneath the arc legend CAPITALE DELL'IMPERO ROMANO D'OCCIDENTE, with the commemorative dates 402 · 2002 and the city name RAVENNA inscribed between legend and panel. The denomination 20 EURO is prominently rendered in the lower field, accompanied by the engraver's signature L. DE SIMONI to the right of the panel. |
