The upper portion presents the Finnish text in progressively larger letterforms, followed by the Swedish translation in the lower half, creating a typographically dynamic composition. No effigy, border ornamentation, or exergual elements are present; the design relies solely on the bold, modernist arrangement of the inscribed text. The graduated scaling of the lettering, designed by Ilkka Suppanen, conveys a sense of proclamation and civic gravity appropriate to the centennial commemoration. |
