Twelve five-pointed stars of the European Union encircle the upper-left segment of the design along the scalloped inner border. The large numeral '20' dominates the right half of the field in bold relief. The denomination legend 'EURO CENT' is inscribed in two lines beneath the numeral at the lower right, with the designer's initials 'LL' incuse on the map. The overall composition is clean and geometric, characteristic of the euro coinage common reverse series. |
