| Obverse description | Bare-headed effigy of King George II facing left, rendered in high relief with fine sculptural detail. The legend ΓΕΩΡΓΙΟΣ Β. ΒΑΣΙΛΕΥΣ ΤΩΝ ΕΛΛΗΝΩΝ curves along the upper periphery, identifying the monarch as King of the Greeks. The commemorative date 25 ΝΟΕΜΒΡΙΟΥ 1935, marking the restoration of the monarchy, is inscribed along the lower field.
