| Beschrijving voorzijde | The coat of arms of the Republic of Palau is depicted in high relief within a circular raised border, showing a seated Neptune-like figure holding a trident, flanked by a mermaid and a treasure chest, set against a decorative shield. A traditional Palauan canoe with occupants appears above the shield. The arc legend REPUBLIC OF PALAU runs along the upper periphery, with six stars distributed on either side of the arms. The motto RAINBOW'S END appears within the shield in the exergue, the denomination 20$ is inscribed below the arms, and the date 2018 is positioned at the base of the coin. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | A highly detailed, three-dimensional effigy of the funerary mask of Pharaoh Tutankhamun occupies the entire reverse, shaped to replicate the iconic golden death mask. The face of the young pharaoh is rendered with polished gold-plated surfaces and features selectively colored purple-tinted eyes with elongated cosmetic lines evoking the kohl markings of ancient Egyptian tradition. The nemes headdress with its characteristic striped lappets falls symmetrically to either side, while the broad usekh collar with multiple registers of horizontal ribbing spans the lower portion. A royal uraeus and vulture head adornment crown the forehead, and a ceremonial false beard projects from the chin, all faithfully reproducing the iconic original artifact housed in the Egyptian Museum, Cairo. |
