The face of the young pharaoh is rendered with polished gold-plated surfaces and features selectively colored purple-tinted eyes with elongated cosmetic lines evoking the kohl markings of ancient Egyptian tradition. The nemes headdress with its characteristic striped lappets falls symmetrically to either side, while the broad usekh collar with multiple registers of horizontal ribbing spans the lower portion. A royal uraeus and vulture head adornment crown the forehead, and a ceremonial false beard projects from the chin, all faithfully reproducing the iconic original artifact housed in the Egyptian Museum, Cairo. |
