The legend REPUBLIC OF LIBERIA arcs along the upper periphery in bold raised letters, repeated in smaller characters along the lower rim of the shield. The date 2002 is divided either side of the arms, with '20' to the left and '02' to the right. A toothed border of raised dashes frames the entire design. |
