Obverse description Bare-headed right-facing effigy of Queen Elizabeth II as portrayed at age 77, wearing a necklace and earrings, as designed by Susanna Blunt. The legend encircles the portrait, with the denomination and date below. A special jubilee marking flanks the effigy, incorporating the double dates '1952' and '2022' separated by four pearls, each pearl commemorating one of the four successive royal effigies that appeared on Canadian coinage throughout the reign of Elizabeth II.
