| 表面の銘文 | REPUBLIC OF LIBERIA 20 04 THE LOVE OF LIBERTY BROUGHT US HERE |
| 裏面の説明 | The central field features a finely detailed relief depiction of a 1908 Ford Model T touring car shown in three-quarter view, rendered with meticulous attention to period mechanical detail including spoked wheels, brass fittings, and an open folding canopy. To the upper left, an oval portrait medallion displays a facing bust of Henry Ford, the automobile's inventor. The curved legend HISTORY OF AMERICA • FORD MODEL T 1908 arcs along the upper and right periphery in bold capital letters. The denomination $20 is inscribed in large characters at the base of the field. |

Liberia's numismatic output in the early 2000s was dominated by a cottage industry of themed collector pieces — cars, trains, wildlife, celebrities — licensed and marketed almost entirely to Western hobbyists with no connection to the issuing nation. The Ford Model T issue is squarely in that category, produced under arrangements common to several small sovereign issuers who effectively rented their minting authority to foreign distributors during this period.
No Model T was ever sold in Liberia.
