| Obverse description | Four superimposed right-facing effigies of Queen Elizabeth II, arranged in sequence from foreground to background to represent her evolving portraits across seven decades of reign, from the youngest to the eldest likeness. The foreground portrait depicts the mature Queen wearing a pearl necklace and a floral diadem, while successively receding effigies show progressively younger versions of Her Majesty, each adorned with a tiara or crown. The dates 1952 and 2022, separated by a Tudor rose, appear in the lower field, flanking the circumferential legend ELIZABETH II D·G·REGINA along the lower rim. |
