| Obverse description | Diademed and draped effigy of Queen Elizabeth II after Ian Rank-Broadley facing right, occupying the central field. The legend ELIZABETH II arcs along the left periphery, with COOK ISLANDS along the right; the denomination 20 DOLLARS is inscribed along the lower arc. The engraver's initials IRB appear beneath the truncation of the bust. The coin is finished in antiqued silver, imparting a muted, aged tonality to the relief. |

| Reverse description | An intricately rendered ultra-high-relief depiction of the interior coffered ceiling of the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests within the Temple of Heaven complex in Beijing, viewed from directly below in a dramatic upward perspective. Concentric rings of carved lacquered beams, decorative corbels, and ornamental motifs radiate outward from a central gilded boss, rendered with exceptional sculptural depth that causes the design to recede sharply toward the centre. Architectural friezes and column capitals, rendered in fine detail, frame the composition along all four cardinal borders. The inscription TEMPLE OF HEAVEN appears in a cartouche at the upper edge of the design, and the date 2015 is placed in a corresponding cartouche at the lower edge. |
