| Reverse description | The reverse features a highly detailed engraving of a section of the Lover's Knot Tiara, a celebrated royal jewel historically associated with Queen Elizabeth II. The central motif depicts three suspended pearl drops, each set beneath interlaced lover's knot bows rendered in fine relief and set with applied Swarovski crystal stones of pale blue hue simulating diamonds, imparting exceptional brilliance to the design. A delicate pearl-studded swag connects the lower elements, faithfully replicating the tiara's distinctive festoon construction. The design is framed by a border of alternating raised circular bosses encircling the entire field. The legend CANADA arcs along the upper rim and the denomination 20 DOLLARS is inscribed along the lower rim, both in incuse lettering. |
