Beschrijving voorzijde The obverse of this rectangular proof silver piece is dominated by a high-relief depiction of the Gothic architectural interior of Cologne Cathedral, with towering pointed arches and intricate tracery rendered in fine detail across the upper field. At the center, a color-printed insert faithfully reproduces the celebrated Magi Window (Dreikönigskapelle) of the cathedral, its twin lancet panels and diamond-shaped upper light filled with vivid multi-colored stained-glass scenes depicting the Adoration of the Magi and related biblical narratives. In the lower portion of the design, a circular inset panel bears the right-facing effigy of Queen Elizabeth II after the Ian Rank-Broadley portrait, surrounded by the legend ELIZABETH II and COOK ISLANDS. Below the effigy, the denomination 20 DOLLARS is inscribed, flanked by the date 2014 at the top and a serial number panel reading 000/999 at the lower right.

Beschrijving keerzijde The reverse of this rectangular silver proof piece presents an expansive color-printed reproduction of the Magi Window of Cologne Cathedral, set within a sculpted Gothic architectural framework of pointed arches, clustered pilasters, and ornamental tracery rendered in high relief. The twin lancet windows and a diamond-shaped rose light above are filled with richly colored stained-glass scenes, depicting the Three Kings and associated biblical figures in the medieval pictorial tradition of the early sixteenth century. The lower register features a decorative frieze of Gothic quatrefoil ornament in relief, beneath which a dark plaque bears the inscriptions MASTERPIECES OF CRAFTS and COLOGNE CATHEDRAL in raised lettering. The overall composition faithfully evokes the soaring verticality and luminous craftsmanship of the original 1507 cathedral glazing.
