At the lower portion of the coin, within a circular cartouche, appears the right-facing effigy of Queen Elizabeth II as engraved by Ian Rank-Broadley, with the surrounding legend ELIZABETH II COOK ISLANDS and the denomination 20 DOLLARS. |
