Obverse description The quartered coat of arms of Andorra occupies the central field, featuring the heraldic emblems of the Bishop of Urgell, the Count of Foix, the King of Aragon, and the Viscount of Castellbò, surmounted by a bishop's mitre and flanked by elaborate scrollwork mantling. The national motto VIRTVS VNITA FORTIOR appears on a scroll at the base of the shield. The denomination 20 D. flanks the shield to the left and right. A continuous circumferential legend reads JOAN. D. M. BISBE. D'URGELL I. PRINCEP. D'ANDORRA.
