The engraver's signature BARRE appears in small lettering along the lower exergual line, with the date 1920 prominently struck in the exergue. The legend INDO-CHINE arcs across the upper periphery and FRANÇAISE curves along the lower periphery, together identifying the issuing colonial territory. No fineness designation or mintmark appears on this pattern piece. The entire design is enclosed within a beaded border.
