正面描述	Seated allegorical figure of Marianne, representing the French Republic, facing left upon a raised throne, wearing a radiate crown and classical draped robes, raising a fasces upright in her right hand while her left arm rests upon the throne's armrest. A sheaf of vegetation appears to the lower left of the figure. The circular legend REPUBLIQUE FRANÇAISE runs along the periphery, divided left and right of the effigy, with the date 1919 prominently displayed in the exergue and the engraver's name BARRE incused along the lower exergual line.
