Reverse description Three Mahoe trees (Talipariti elatum), Jamaica's national tree, are depicted rising from a low mound in the central field, their characteristically broad, flowering canopies rendered in fine detail, with a spray of leaves and blossoms extending into the lower field on either side. The numeral '20' appears in large digits in the lower centre, with the denomination spelled out as 'TWENTY CENTS' along the bottom periphery. The legend 'FORESTRY FOR DEVELOPMENT' arcs along the upper periphery, flanked by pellet stops.
