| Beschrijving keerzijde | A furled national flag on a tall flagpole dominates the central field, rendered in low to moderate relief, displaying horizontal stripes and a canton of stars in the upper hoist corner. The numeral 20 appears below the flag in the lower central field, with the legend TWENTY CENTS inscribed along the lower periphery. The curved legend THE SMALLEST COUNTRY IN THE WORLD arcs along the upper rim. The composition is typical of privately produced fantasy coinage. |

No Riviera Principality appears in the recognized record of sovereign or semi-sovereign issuing authorities. This piece almost certainly originates from one of the private "fantasy" mint operations active in the 1990s — entities that produced coins for non-existent or non-issuing territories and sold them through novelty and collector channels. Chromium-plated brass was a favored material for such issues, keeping production costs negligible while presenting as circulating coinage.
