| Obverse description | Bare-headed left-facing effigy of King Vittorio Emanuele III occupying the upper portion of the field, rendered in high relief with finely detailed facial features characteristic of Romagnoli's portraiture. The truncation of the neck appears at the lower centre of the field, below which the engraver's signature G. ROMAGNOLI is incised. The peripheral legend arcs around the upper and lateral fields, identifying the monarch by his royal and imperial titles. |

| Reverse description | Rightward-facing allegorical bust of Italia occupies the central field, her hair arranged with classical formality. To her left stands a prominent fasces — the Fascist regime's emblematic symbol — surmounted by the Savoy shield and fitted with an axe at its base. The denomination C.20 appears in the lower field, flanked by the year of issue to the right and, to the left, the mint mark R accompanied by the Roman numeral year of the Fascist Era. The overall composition reflects the official iconographic programme of the Fascist period. |
