Beschrijving voorzijde	The obverse is printed in dark green and black on a pale orange-buff underprint. A central vignette shows a reclining allegorical female figure beside a harbour scene with buildings and a vessel in the background. To the left, a second vignette presents a tall-masted sailing ship at sea within an arched frame, while a smaller circular vignette at the lower right contains a building, likely the bank's premises. The denomination numeral '20' appears in each corner, with the bank's title and capital information inscribed across the upper portion.

Beschrijving keerzijde	The reverse is printed entirely in a brick-red or terra-cotta tone, composed of an elaborate engine-turned guilloche design filling the entire surface. Two large numeral '20' counters are set symmetrically within ornate lathe-work rosettes at the left and right, connected by a central medallion of intricate geometric interlacing patterns and floral micro-printing borders above and below.
