Obverse description The obverse bears the Omani national emblem centered in the field: a khanjar (traditional curved dagger) within its sheath superimposed upon two crossed swords, rendered in relief. This design derives from the obverse die of KM#23. The emblem is presented without a surrounding legend, occupying the full available field of the square flan with rounded corners.

Reverse description The reverse, derived from the die of KM#27, displays a circular Arabic legend arching around the upper field reading 'Sultan Muscat wa Oman' (سلطان مسقط وعمان), with a second line below reading 'Said bin Taimur' (سعيد بن تيمور). The Hijri date ١٣٦٥ (1365 AH / 1946 AD) is inscribed in Eastern Arabic numerals in the lower field. All inscriptions are rendered in a calligraphic Arabic script in raised relief against a plain field.
