Issued to mark the 2548 BE centennial of Thailand's National Library, which traces its institutional origin to 1905 when Rama V consolidated several royal manuscript collections into a single public repository in Bangkok. The library holds one of the largest collections of palm-leaf manuscripts in Southeast Asia, many predating the Chakri dynasty entirely.
