A central pink underprint vignette carries a standing male figure holding a sword or blade-type implement, alluding to Solingen's historic cutlery trade, with the denomination "Zwanzigtausend Mark" in bold Gothic blackletter script across the centre and the numeral "20.000" repeated at top and bottom.
