正面描述	The obverse is printed on a light green ground with fine guilloche underprint. The central vignette presents a white elephant in ceremonial regalia, rendered in intaglio with green and gold caparison, positioned facing left. At left, a circular medallion carries the Burmese inscription 'နစ် သောင်း ကျပ်' (Twenty Thousand Kyats), while the denomination '20000' appears in both numerals and Burmese script at the upper corners and lower left; the serial number is printed vertically at the right margin.

备注	Myanmar's highest-denomination banknote was introduced as the country's economy buckled under the weight of the February 2021 military coup — the kyat lost roughly half its value against the dollar within two years of the takeover, and the central bank, now effectively under junta control, responded partly by expanding the note supply rather than tightening it. The 20,000 kyat note entered circulation into that inflationary pressure, not out of economic confidence. Pick 87 is the first time this denomination has appeared in Myanmar's modern series, a figure that would have been unthinkable for routine transactions even a decade prior.
