Two circular official seals, one for the city and one for the rural district of Aachen, each charged with an eagle, are placed symmetrically in the lower portion of the main field, beneath which appear the date 'Aachen, den 12. Oktober 1923', the series letter, serial number, and two manuscript signatures over their printed authority designations. |
