| Descrizione del dritto | Printed in dark red on a yellow guilloche underprint, the obverse is divided into a narrow left panel — carrying validity and circulation-area notices in vertical letterpress text — and a wider main field bearing the issuer's title in Gothic script at top, flanked by the denomination '20 Milliarden' on each side, with the central value inscription '20 Milliarden Mark' in bold display type. Two circular official seals, one for the city and one for the rural district of Aachen, each charged with an eagle, are placed symmetrically in the lower portion of the main field, beneath which appear the date 'Aachen, den 12. Oktober 1923', the series letter, serial number, and two manuscript signatures over their printed authority designations. |
