| Beschrijving voorzijde | Central field features the Polish state emblem — a crowned white eagle displayed with wings spread, rendered in high relief against a smooth field. The legend RZECZPOSPOLITA POLSKA arcs along the upper periphery in raised Latin capitals. The date 2007 is divided across the lower field, flanking the eagle, with the mint mark of the Mint of Poland (MW) incorporated discreetly. The denomination numeral '2' appears prominently in the lower central field, accompanied by the currency abbreviation 'ZŁ' on either side, all within a dotted inner border. |

| Aanvullende informatie |
This piece belongs to Poland's long-running "History of the Zloty" collector series, which the NBP used to document the monetary history of the Polish state across multiple issues. The 2007 entry in that series draws on a numismatic tradition stretching back to the early Jagiellonian period, when the zloty functioned as a unit of account before it ever existed as struck coinage.
Nordic gold — a copper-aluminum-zinc alloy — was chosen for the broader Nordic gold collector series partly for its resistance to tarnishing and partly because it photographs well for catalog documentation.
