| 背面描述 | A bust of a young peasant woman in three-quarter left profile, wearing a traditional folk headscarf tied beneath her chin, rendered in fine sculptural relief. To the left of the figure, three stalks of wheat or rye are depicted in the field, symbolizing agrarian Poland. The denomination 2 ZŁOTE is inscribed in large bold Latin letters arcing across the upper portion of the field above the figure's head. |

Poland's return to sovereign coinage in the early 1920s was complicated by runaway inflation that had devastated the marka, the currency the new republic inherited from the occupation period. The 2 Złote denomination was part of the stabilization program tied to the introduction of the złoty in 1924, itself anchored to the gold franc under Finance Minister Władysław Grabski's sweeping monetary reform. Trial strikes in silver — distinct from the adopted circulation alloy — were produced as part of the approval process at Mennica Polska, making survivors institutional rather than commercial pieces from the outset.
