The inscription is surrounded by two symmetrical laurel and oak branches tied at the base with a ribbon bow, evoking the classical wreath motif adapted to Qajar coinage style. The entire design is contained within a finely toothed border, with the word 'Tehran' (طهران) visible at the very base beneath the wreath tie. |
